MAG-C,
the Software We Use
The MAG-C family of software from Bockmon Tax Systems
contains 3 separate packages to prepare and submit
electronically to IRS or
SSA (MAG-C 1099, MAG-C 1042, MAG-C W2).
MAG-C was produced
inhouse for our own use, and it's also available for sale on this
website. Since MAG-C was
designed for our requirements, it
is coded for speed and accuracy. All programs are coded in
"C" and address the
hardware (screen, disk, printer)
directly. MAG-C launches from the Disk Operating System,
same as Windows or
other operating systems, but uses
the lower level BIOS
for most functions. Wrapped in a self-installation
program,
it installs and operates much like any other Windows
application, and its small footprint allows you to open
multiple instances of the software, useful in many situations.
